How soon before my website starts making money?
I’m just curious as to how long before my website will start generating money. If I do google AdWords, link with a lot of other sites, post in forums, newspapers, flyers, etc. etc. and do all the other proven marketing strategies, how long before I start rolling in the bucks? Generally speaking, how long before I can make at least $2000/month gross. That also can include the products I’ll be selling. I’ll be like an amazon dot com. Thanks.
What is the actual product going to be??
You see, the problem is marketing. First you have to get people to find your site, which generally takes more than just getting search engine listings, you usually have to spend quite a lot to get the right kind of traffic.
Then of course there is the fact that Amazon already exists and is very well established.
Most websites do not make hardly any money at all. Try first to work for a web company yourself to get a feel for the terrain as they say.

Are there any legitimate sites for making money taking surveys?
I have tried one only to find myself spending hours filling out stuff for little money only to end up getting emails saying I had not completed the survey or the offer, thus I wasted my time. I read on forums where people are getting checks from Pinecone and other sites (nothing big, but 5 10 or 20 dollars) but every time Iook for these I don’t find the surveys and I am not interested in completing offers that require me to submit credit imformation so they can charge me if I don’t cancel my trial service, etc. Does anyone on here actually make extra money on any of the survey things?
Good question. I’m skeptical. Let me know what you find out from the sites listed here.
How do polling organizations (like Zogby, Gallup, and the Pew Forum) make money?
I was wondering where these organizations get the funds to have such massive public-opinion polls, such as the thousands of phone calls, emails and interviews they do daily.
If you’ve ever been to a site like gallup.com you can see they have TONS of new polls out every day, so I wondering how these organizations generate an income. All they seem to do is post their results for public viewing, so I’m not sure where they get their money.
