What are some Marketing Tips for a small business?

I manage a small flight school and have been trying to get more people to come fly with us….my target market has been identified as already licensed pilots looking for a new adventure and further training…I want to market specifically my tailwheel program….Do you have any suggestions as to what would work best for doing this…such as flyers, or tri-folds, or TV adds, etc….We have around a $1000 budget so whatever we do will have to be cost effective.

Thanks!

You may want to consider having a website to get the most bang for your buck. The website below offers a comparison between a yellow pages ad & having a website. So you can most likely reach your goals for a lot less than $1000.

Whats the best internet marketing for small business?

I work for a company that sells NFL products. I advertise their product 15% less then what they sell for and i get 25% commission of the retail price. So more i advertise the flyers the more money i make. Any suggestions for advertising my flyers so i can make more money :)

Dear Friend,

If you’re like me you are on complete information overload. With today’s technology, there are many ways to market your business. There is something new every day. LinkedIn, Squidoo, Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, Articles, Blogging, Email Marketing, and the list goes on and on.

How do you keep up?

Seems impossible doesn’t it? Well I am happy to say I have found the solution. The company is called ‘123Employee’ and they offer full time and part time dedicated virtual assistants from their U.S. run facilities overseas. You can get full time employees for nearly $5 an hour. Part time packages start as low as $297 per month.

But that’s not all, ‘123Employee’ has pre-trained people for web design and internet marketing. So the things that you may not know how to do like Squidoo Lenses, Blog Posting, Article Writing, etc., they can do it… This equals leads and sales for your business!

Here’s the best part, you don’t pay a penny until you hire your first employee. That’s right, the folks at ‘123Employee’ will not charge you anything until you actually hire someone. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Check them out here http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?af=1032316 and receive your free copy of ‘Outsource This!’ your guide to global outsourcing.

Talk to you soon,

what is a list of small business markets in florida that are thriving?

I am looking to open a buisness and have a few things in mind, but am curious as to which markets generally do well regardless as well as which ones seem to have a general need. Any imput would be appreciated. \
Thanks!

If you think about the economy lately, and ask yourself what are people doing to save money and which businesses are doing well.

You’ll probably end up with a list of thriving businesses. thrift shops (for clothing, furniture and anything else of value), storage places (due to people downsizing and moving in together to save on rent and mortgages), bartering (swapping all kinds of goods and services), and used cars (more affordable than new) and car parts stores (fixing older cars instead of buying new ones).

Use your imagination and I’ll bet you can come up with some ideas of your own to add to this short list.

I personally have been helping small local businesses create and develop more effective websites and customer contact lists to help them improve profits.

Businesses actually need help with this and they will gladly pay for what they need to know to remain competitive.

I also discovered an effective business model that uses a membership basis to generate consistent income for businesses.

These are hard times for some but if you look around you’ll see that something is always working well, in spite of the media telling us otherwise.

Keep your mind open and your head up, Good luck !
