We are on fourteen acres, with a rare Artesian spring flowing 25 gal. per min. of pure drinking water with priority water rights, thirteen of the largest trees in Moab – including six giant Gamble oaks, a restorable historic adobe (1886). Deer lounge under the oaks in the summer months; rare birds nest, this property is a True Oasis in the desert. Only one mile from town, adjacent to BLM.
Our home is six bed / five bath, 3200 s.f. two level, with a 600 s.f. covered deck, large shaded lawns, and a 32 ft. custom swimming pool. We have run a Bed and Breakfast here for almost ten years (license transferrable and good clientele).
I have designed a low-impact, highly regarded subdiVISION plan – approved by the county – for eight parcels; four on ten acres of private redrock and four on four acres of lush garden. Retirement home, small business/b and b/campground, investment opportunity, or corporate retreat ?!?
We are very pleased that so many people look toward Moab as a Mecca of sorts; people that enjoy the astounding natural beauty of the red rock desert. Also, for the clean air, no traffic, low crime, and a much slower-paced, easy going lifestyle, and the myriad of ‘adventure sports’ available just out the back door. That’s why I moved here twenty-five years ago from Marin County. Moab still has all these things.

Ingredients for Dry Mix:
2 to 2 1/2 C Flour
1/2 C dry sweet (sugar, succanat, brown sugar)
2 tsp Baking Powder (3 if using whole wheat)
1/2 tsp salt
Dry season to taste (cinnaman, nutmeg…)
Dry mix-ins (nuts, dried fruit…)
Seal and toss in freezer
Wet Ingredients:
1 C Milk
1/4 oil (butter, canola, veg…)
1 egg
liquid extracts to taste (vanilla, almond…)
UP TO 1/2 moist additions (apple butter, peanut butter, pureed pumpin)
Mix and store all wet ingredients in fridge until needed. In this case mix in peanut butter jar for flavor.
Preheat oven to 400
Combine wet mix into dry mix in a bowl.
Spoon in oiled/sprayed muffin tims.
Bake 18-20 minutes on center rack.
